The plants, with capacities ranging from 36 kWp to 480 kWp, will have a cumulative installed capacity of 1.95 MWp in the departments of Var and Bouches-du-Rhône. The plants are installed on municipal buildings and national administration buildings. All projects are either already in operation or ready to build.

💡 Did you know?

P50 and P90 production figures refer to the probability that the expected production will be achieved in a year. Indeed, photovoltaic production is directly linked to the weather and therefore subject to daily and annual variations.

  • The P50 production figure corresponds to a 50% probability of achieving the expected production. It is therefore optimistic as it is achieved, on average, only one year out of two

  • With the same approach, the P90 has a 90% probability of being achieved, making it more conservative

4 sites have already been commissioned at the beginning of the year. The remaining projects will be completed before the end of 2025.

☀️ Solar Rooftop Actor

Soleil du Sud Energie is a company founded in 2009 that develops, finances, builds, operates, and maintains rooftop photovoltaic power plants. Specializing in photovoltaic installation on rooftops, Soleil du Sud focuses its activities on three different markets:

  • Municipalities: municipal buildings such as schools, workshops, public services
  • Businesses: agricultural operations, warehouses, shopping centers
  • Residential: homes, carport shade, charging stations

It currently operates a portfolio of over 17 MWp, with an average unit size of 250 kWp. The development pace for the coming years is set at 5 MWp per year, with a strong historical component of projects on public buildings.

The production of these facilities, recurring for the next 20 years, ensures a turnover of more than €3M in 2025.

👷♀️ Full Control of the Value Chain

Guaranteeing the quality of construction and intervention, the study teams (technicians, engineers, urban planners) and construction teams (carpenters, roofers, electricians, automation engineers) are internalized. No subcontracting is used from the design to the operation of the power plants. The achievements are numerous: roof renovation with watertightness guarantee, on new buildings, by providing solarized buildings, on shade structures (with or without charging stations) and in covering outdoor equipment.

  • 100% control of interventions
  • Ability to intervene in constrained environments
  • Maximum adaptability
  • Reactivity at all times

🧩 A Sustainable Development Strategy

Soleil du Sud Energie is a mission-driven company, with a recognized sustainable development strategy and strong values:

  • Short circuit: Var-based company, using French or European materials (French Volter solar panels, German inverters)
  • Durability: renovation of roofs during the installation of power plants
  • Responsible: powering Soleil du Sud offices with renewable energy, fleet of electric service vehicles, permanent contracts without subcontracting
  • Low carbon footprint
